Henry represent Great Britain

Hi, my name is Henry and I am fundraising to help towards the costs of competing at International events. I am 15 years old and have trained in the sport of Ninja Obstacles & Obstacle Course Running (OCR) since I was 8 years old. In December 2024 I took part in the Team GB qualification races and was selected to join the team and represent Great Britain in the European OCR Championships and the World OCR Championships. These will be held in Portugal in June and Sweden in September. I am so honoured to be allowed to represent my country in this sport and hope to do my very best. Between studying for my GCSEs and training, I have been trying to raise funds to help with the costs of these trips. As this sport is still in its infancy, it is all self-funded and it is down to me and my family to raise the funds for the competition entry fees, flights, accommodation, and Team GB branded sportswear. I have looked into grants, but have not been successful.

I would be so grateful for any assistance with raising these funds to help me achieve the goal and compete for Great Britain. It is my hope and dream to compete on this global level and get that experience against international athletes, that I then get the chance to represent Great Britain at the Olympics in 2028 when OCR will be included for the first time.
