Henry Pietras of Brookfield, Connecticut, passed away suddenly last December, leaving a profound impact on everyone who knew him. As a member of the Brookfield Energy Advisory Board, he provided invaluable guidance to our town. To honor Henry’s legacy and continue his important work, we are raising funds to create the Henry Pietras Environmental Library at the Brookfield Library. This special collection will include both children’s and adult books, as well as media resources such as videos on sustainability, clean energy, and environmental health—topics that Henry championed throughout his life.
