You may know Jim Larkin Sr. for his community contributions toward the African American Art and Cultural Center, Martial Arts program initiative or soulful musical production.

Jim Larkin Sr. passed away on December 11th 2022.

As one of the eldest of his many grandchildren, I have started a funeral fundraiser. All proceeds will be allocated toward funeral related expenses and his commemoration reception.

We are asking for the support of our community. For those who were impacted by his contributions in any way, to please consider donating. Any amount sewed will foster a great impact. We are looking to raise $50,000 by February 14 2022 in order to cover the cost of Jim Larkin’s funeral service and reception.

If our goal is exceeded ALL additional funds will be donated to the advancement of “Larkin’s Bukido”, a youth martial arts initiative founded by Jim Larkin Sr.
