Henry "Big Hank" Butler Sr.

Donation protected
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Butler, Sr., known lovingly as “Big Hank”. Hank passed away peacefully in bed on January 6, 2024, at the age of 80. His loved ones are fundraising for his funeral and memorial services. For the past several years, he courageously battled cancer along with other illnesses, although you would never know he was in any pain. He lived to spread joy and laughter everywhere he went and made a lasting impact in the lives of those he touched. He had a humble spirit; a loving heart and he spent the last few decades of his life paying it forward for all of the grace he had received in his lifetime. He was a constant fixture at The Ecumenical Hunger Program, donating his time to help others in need. He will without a doubt be deeply missed.

Though he battled cancer for years, he was in remission and recently had a pacemaker implanted. His passing was unexpected, so we are seeking donations from the community to help mitigate costs. Any support given in loving memory of Hank would be greatly appreciated.

Gratefully,

Nevida & Henry Jr. Butler
