It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Del Cid, at only 34 years of age. Over the past year, Henry developed several medical health complications and struggles, which put his parents and family under financial strain. For the past year, Henry’s family has been on a roller-coaster of emotions and heartbreaking news as to Henry’s prognosis and the result of his death on Friday, June 3, 2022

 

In recollecting Henry’s life, he was sweet, smart, witty, a true friend, a jokester, and an entertainer. He always had an ear to share with others who needed to vent their problems and was non-judgmental of others. Henry knew how to enjoy a simple day and a good meal as he delighted himself with foods, especially his mama’s cooking.

 

Henry had strong family roots engrained in him, which is why he had such a big connection with his mom and sisters. Even with the many challenges and poor health Henry faced through the last year of his life, he continued to be himself and carried the natural gift of making friends and lighting up everyone's day.

 

Henry leaves behind his two children, Leo (2-years-old) and Gia (1-year-old), his wife Sam, and his family that loved him dearly. In this time of sorrow, Henry’s parents Clara and Lino Del Cid are facing limitations with putting Henry’s remains to rest and saying their last goodbyes to their son.
