UPDATE! Henry has been booked for cataract surgery July 8th

Hello, our names are Amanda & Trevor, and we're reaching out on behalf of our sweet dog, Henry.

Henry is more than just our pet—he’s part of our family. This gentle, old soul of a dog has brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives and we couldn't imagine our home without him. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, chasing dad around the house, or greeting visitors with excitement and enthusiasm, Henry’s heart is as big as they come and all who know him adore him.

Unfortunately, Henry has developed a hypermature cataract in one of his eyes that’s significantly affecting his vision—and his quality of life. After several vet visits and consultations with 2 veterinary ophthalmologists, we’ve learned that surgery is the only way to restore his sight and prevent further complications.

We will be scheduling an appointment for surgery with Dr. Strong at the Toronto Animal Eye Clinic and the estimated cost for the surgery, follow-up care, and medication is approximately $9000—$10,000.
