Henry Boy Needs Your Help?

Hello my name is Lauren and my boyfriend is Justin we together own one of the sweetest dogs on the planet Mr. Henry. Last Thursday evening November 10, 2022 while taking our dogs on a walk Henry chased a deer and was impailed by a tree branch.

He was rushed to the emergency vet where he underwent a 6 hour surgery to remove the branch and all the remnants of the shrapnel. Unfortunately, because of the blunt force inside his body an infection began. He underwent another surgery to restitch one of his incisions. Henry was supposed to come home yesterday. We even moved all the furniture out of our room put the bed on the floor off our frame and baby proofed the entire 1st floor for his recovery when we received news that his temperature spiked and he was not coming home and not only that the original vet we were at for 4 days could no longer help him and that we had to Transport him to Philadelphia. So last night in the pouring rain we got our baby to the University of Pennsylvania Veterinarian Hospital. Today Henry is going for a CT scan having his bacteria looked over by a board certified Pathologiest and he will go thru a 3 rd surgery to remove the infection causing him so much inflammation. Henry is a fighter and thru all of this still walks around with a wagging tail and bright loving eyes. He is still fighting and wants to make his 3rd birthday. Please help us give him that chance.
