In Support of Henry and Sara Abrams House Fire
Donation protected
Please help support our parents Henry and Sara Abrams as they recently lost everything in a tragic house fire. On Tuesday, August 20th, Henry and Sara returned to Altona from a short visit to Rosenfeld to find their home engulfed in thick, black smoke. Upon their arrival, they realized the oven had accidentally been left on. The police along with the fire department arrived at the house shortly after. A few hours later, the fire department was able to localize and extinguish the fire. At this point, the fire was thought to be extinguished and the house safe to enter.
Unfortunately, Henry and Sara currently do not have house insurance. Due to this, plans were made to return the following day with the support of family, friends and coworkers to help clean the house and rebuild the kitchen. Henry and Sara had also made arrangements to stay with family in Altona until the house was deemed safe and liveable. Tragically, around 3:45 am, Henry and Sara were notified by their neighbour that the fire had restarted, and their home was engulfed in flames. Henry and Sara, along with their family are devastated and heartbroken over the loss of their home. Please continue to pray for Henry and Sara during this difficult time. They have been blessed with overwhelming love and support from family, friends and the community of Altona. All donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear.” Psalm 46 : 1-2
