As many of you know wrestling has played a huge part in my life. Growing up I found my passion for wrestling influenced my life and the individual I wanted to be. I love the work, the honing of the mind, body, and relationships gained. With the sport of wrestling I've had great coaches that have changed my life for the better, friendships that last a lifetime, and the mindset to help anyone willing to work. The sport has come full circle for me as an athlete, then as a coach to so many and now back to competing at the age of 37. I have had the opportunity to give back to the sport I love by coaching 5 year olds all the way up through college level athletes. I continue to take pride in being an example on and off the mat for young wrestlers with the passion to compete and become better. The last 3 years I've found myself back at it, competing and still loving the process, and showing my athletes that this is a sport that shapes you for life. In the process I've had the opportunity to be on 3 World teams, but unable to compete do to family situations and funding. This year I qualified to represent the US in the birth place of wrestling in Athens Greece October 13th-18th 2015. With your support, I hope to make the trip and wrestle with passion, heart, and to make my dream I wrote on binder paper in 2000 of competing in the World Championships come true.
