Hendrix's Catcher Gear Fundraiser

My son Hendrix plays catcher for a 9U boys Rec. Team in Burleson, and also on a tournament team. His shin guards are constantly coming apart, or the metal clamp that hooks them together is breaking off. Also, his mask doesn’t have a visor on it, and during his tournaments, they play on a dirt field, and dirt is always getting into his eyes. He always is so upset and can't perform like he wants to. This is his first year playing catcher, and he has thrown so many players out at 1st and 3rd. Teams are scared to steal home because of how fast he is getting to the ball during rec. games.

In two REC SEASONS:

1st - 11 wins — 1 loss, finished 1st place in the regular season

Playoffs 5-1 (won the championship)

2nd - 9 wins — 3 losses, finished 2nd place in the regular season

He seriously works so hard day in and day out to get better and deserves to have new catcher gear.

With all the sports my other 5 kids play, it is very hard to afford new catcher equipment!
