Hendrix Keeling

Dear family and friends.

As some of you know by now, our Hendrix is in trouble. Since turning two years old last week. A charming, smiling little boy enjoying his birthday with his family and opening his gifts is now a patient at Doernbecher Hospital. E-Coli has invaded his sweet body and has now attacked his Kidneys. Who is ever prepared for such a turn of events? My niece Daniella Abbotts/Keeling is his mother, and his father is Devante Keeling. We were all together celebrating this happy child’s special day, and two days later, he was not the same. As of today, Mother’s Day, he was being prepared for a feeding line and Dialysis. Mom and dad have been with him day and night. I am Aunt Lesli and am watching his older brother, Taeden. Mom and dad cannot think of anything else but to heal their youngest child. They have not been able to attend to their jobs or anything else. Our family is doing everything we can so they can be there for Hendrix. That is why we are reaching out through GoFundMe. Anything you can contribute with prayers and positive thoughts would help with the expenses. At this time, it is a wait-and-see if the Dialysis will work. Hendrix and his brother Taeden are the happiest, most creative children you will ever meet. This family is strong and determined these boys will be safe and thrive in their life’s journeys. We have been a fortunate family with zero experience with this disease. Please, keep this family in your thoughts and thank you for taking the time to learn about this beautiful family
