Hendo's Heroes

The Gormandale Cricket Club has set up a GoFundMe page for Club favorite and Gippsland sporting identity Luke Henderson who is now on the road to recovery after having surgery to overcome his battle with cancer.

Luke has been through an incredible amount over the last 5 years and has faced many challenges head on and with a positive outlook. Throughout this time he has generously donated his own money, time and energy to others who have reached out for assistance knowing that Luke is always willing to assist.

The time has now come for all of us who have enjoyed Luke's generosity but above all mateship, to give back to the man who has helped so many.

Due to Lukes cancer diagnosis and recent surgery, his recovery will be extensive and he must focus on getting better which will stop him from being able to work. For anyone who knows Luke will know that will be an incredible challenge for him. This support will ease the stress on Luke's family and will allow him to focus on his health so he can get back to being our great family member, friend and mate!
