Hello friends - I am running the London marathon on Sunday the 26th April to raise money for the charitable organisation - HHF-UK, to help provide essential funding for the Lok Biradari Prakalpa - Hemalkasa Hospital in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra in India. This hospital in the remote, tribal area of Chandrapur, was started by Dr. Prakash Amte, son of the well known social activist and philanthropist Baba Amte.

HHF-UK (Hemalkasa Health Foundation -UK) was set up in 2010 to provide regular funding to Hemalkasa Hospital for their medical expenses. As an established UK charity, HHF-UK has been raising funds for Hemalkasa hospital for the last 17 years, supporting their medical expenses and providing funds for various health related projects. With your help I hope to raise money for some essential medical equipment at the Hemalkasa hospital to provide better medical care to their patients.
