My name is Daniel Menard and I am helping to raise funds for our dear friends, the Docherty's.

October 16th, 2016 - Our friend Caleb had a violent seizure. His father, Hal, induced lifesaving interventions until the ambulance arrived on scene to get Caleb to the hospital.

The onset of the seizure was unknown and 14 year old  Caleb had no prior health history which would indicate an issue.

October 20, 2016 – Caleb’s MRI revealed a Brainstem Glioma (or in laymen's terms a tumor on his spinal cord). In the immediate future the entire family will need to travel to Portland to consult with a specialist at OHSU.

The purpose of this fund is to help offset of costs for the Docherty's as both parents will be out of work. This includes travel arrangements, hotel, dining, missed wages and to help with medical bills. 

As a husband and father this hits home. I couldnt imagine walking their journey with my own two feet. The least I can do is help them focus on the task at hand without worrying about the smaller stuff.
