Why am I requesting donations for my car?
I am a X-Country/ Track & Field Coach to over 150+ athletes that I directly influence and inspire to be better than themselves at Cleveland Charter High School in Reseda, CA
Right now, I’m in a dire financial crisis as I try and maintain a living with my current bills (Rent, food, phone bill, car insurance payment), and trying to get caught up on past due bills (car payment, credit card debt).
My car has been repossessed because I could not keep up with the payments. I didn’t realize how much I use and need my car until it was taken away from me; can I do without it? At the moment, yes; when Track & Field season rolls around, no. I transport a lot of equipment, and athletes to practices, meets, and Invitationals. I also transport athletes to various events related to the sport, and so I am in need of my car.
I am trying to raise the amount of $2500.00 to pay off my car in full so I can stay on top of my other bills like my rent (which I pay weekly), food expenses, and my phone and insurance payments, along with my credit card debt. I am currently working 3 part time jobs to help make ends meet; and still it is not enough to cover my financial hardships.
I have applied to various programs to help aid in financial recovery, but these programs do not cover vehicle repossession.
This is where I’m asking for your help. You already know how hard I work as a coach. My car is also used for my children; taking them to school, picking them up, exploring places with them. Can I do without my car when it comes to my children? No, unfortunately, I cannot. With Winter Break coming up, and no viable way to take them anywhere to enjoy their holiday season, I will be at home making the best of an anxious situation.
In asking for $2500, the money will be used strictly for my car.
$742.00 will go to pay off the 4 months of payments I could not keep up with
$164.36 is the next payment for the car which is also requested to catch me up on the payments and keep me current
$85.00 is late fees assessed because of delayed payments towards the charge
$200.00 is the fees charged by the Repossession Company for Transportation fees, Repo fees, and Storage fees for how many days my car stays on their lot.
$1300 will go to pay off the rest of the balance of my car.
I have invested over $6000.00 into my car and cannot just walk away from the remaining balance. However, with my current financial situation, I cannot make the payments on time either without incurring late fees.
I need at least $1200.00 by Thursday Dec. 24, 2015 to meet the amounts issued by my Financial Creditor and the Repossession Company in order to get my car back before the New Year. I realize that's right next to Christmas and any amount you're able to give to my dire situation will be greatly appreciated.
Can you help me raise the funds to keep my car? Your generosity will be appreciated and I would be happy to share any of the amazing bakery items I make as a reward for your effort, as that's all I'm able to give at the moment.
The rest of the amount, $1300.00 is needed by Feb. 1, 2016 and will be used only for settling the loan amount with my Financer for my car.
Thank you so much for all that you do, and all you're able to share during this holiday season.
