Hi everyone! This is Jen and Gigi, we are blessed to be friends to the Viray family and also a co-worker of Karen, she is our hardworking patient care assistant. We are conducting this fundraiser to help them as they go through this tough time. The past year until now has been rough for their family since Karen’s husband Tom had a major stroke last August 2022. Majority of their financial resources have been used for Tom’s recovery. He has made a lot of progress but still has right sided weakness which caused him to be permanently terminated at his job as a veterinary technician. At this time, their family is facing yet another challenge as Tom had a cardiac cath after being admitted for chest pain and was found to have 3 of his major arteries almost completely blocked. He is undergoing a triple bypass heart surgery on Feb 27 2023 and we are asking for everyone’s prayers for his successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Your generous contributions would help cover Tom’s medical expenses and would help him get back to his feet and will alleviate some of the family’s financial distress since Karen has been the sole breadwinner since Tom’s stroke. This will also help uplift her spirits as she takes care of Tom and their daughter without worrying too much about the financial burden they are facing.
