Dear Friends,

As you know, Valerie was diagnosed with cancer in early February 2023. She has completed nine rounds of chemotherapy with formidable strength, unwavering optimism and grace only Val can pull off.

Val, Peter, Isa and the entire Barrios and May tribe are so thankful for all of the cheerleading, wishes, Austin visits, Chemo drivers and more. Our love is lifting them! :)

Now it's time to support our dear friends financially. Thank you to all of those who have been asking when / how they could contribute to the tremendous cost of cancer treatment. We are raising funds to test the tumor for different therapies, functional and integrative care, treating the cancer metabolically and personalized vaccine therapy. She has had mixed results with her chemotherapy thus far and they want to start exploring all these uninsured options as soon as possible as this is a fast-moving cancer.
