Ursula's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Ursula Lowther is the loving wife of Keith Lowther, adoring mother to Marilyn and Michael, mother-in-law to Tiffany and doting grandmother (Mimi) of Cole and Levi. She is a phenomenal realtor, the best friend you could ever ask for, always fights for the underdog and has a heart of gold. Just ask any of the many homeless she feeds like clockwork many Saturday mornings throughout the year and they will tell you Red (their nickname for her) is their star.
My name is Kathy Davis and I am a neighbor and fellow realtor of Ursulas. Most importantly She is one of my best friends in the world. Please be assured funds raised by this campaign go directly to Ursula and Keith.
Usula has been through many trials and tribulations in her life and not only has she persevered she’s become stronger because of them. What she is going through now is sure to be the macdaddy of them all.
The short version is Ursula has a brain tumor which is scheduled to be removed August 20th at Emory Hospital. At this point she is in constant pain and has trouble seeing out of one eye. The prognosis? No one knows except for the fact she will live through the surgery.
There will be many challenges for the Lowthers as Ursula returns home, hopefully medical bills and immediate living expenses won’t be one of them. Please help lesson the burden for Ursula and Keith. Any donation large or small will be appreciated and if you can spare a prayer that will certainly help too. Thank you for your time and attention.
This is what another friend says about her:
Ursula is a Mimi, a mom, a wife, a Realtor, a friend, a fighter, a protector of the underdog, a positive force and a giver. She loves unconditionally which is rare.
Ursula remembers those that are forgotten by many. From little things like carrying a bag in her car with bottled water and crackers to give to the homeless that she sees along her drive to delivering 100’s of box fans to the elderly and those in need to baking 1,000’s of cookies and taking her entire Christmas morning to go love on those that need it to taking suitcases full of school supplies and clothing with her on vacation just to deliver to those in need in other countries (who even thinks of doing that?) to getting up at 5am on a Saturday to go cook on the street and serve hot meals to the homeless she always remembers those that are forgotten.
Many early Saturday mornings you will find her in Atlanta hugging and loving on men and woman that most of us don’t even look at. They call her Red. She looks them in the eyes and smiles at them and just cheerfully says Good Morning to them. She is out there in the rain, the cold, the heat. She loves these people that others forget. As one homeless man stated to her one Saturday not that long ago, “Thank you for your dedication to come feed us even in the rain. Many forget about us. Red, I know you never forget us.”
Ursula has overcome many struggles in her own life including abuse, living in a tent, single motherhood, cancer, and more. Instead of these things making her hard it has given her an empathy that very few have. She is one of the good ones.
Ursula has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Here are the links of her journey.
