My name is Treviian Quammie, 31 years old, with two (2) boys, ages seven (7) and three (3). Nine (9) months ago, I was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, which gradually paralyzes people because the brain is no longer able to communicate with the muscles of the body so I cannot voluntarily move.

This disease has spread quicker than expected but I am blessed to still be able to communicate with my family. However, as the ALS progresses, the more medications, doctors visits, and care I need.
