Tou Lee's Son Funeral Expense

Thank you for visiting this GoFundMe campaign for Alan Ceebtsheej Xiong, the son of Dr. Tou Lee Xiong.  Dr. Tou Lee is truly a gem to the Hmong people and to many who know him.  He is currently doing his first year of Family Medicine residency in Iowa.  His world was turned upside down on Tuesday, 1/31/17, when his beautiful baby boy Alan unexpectedly passed away from an illness that suddenly took a turn for the worse.  The death of a child is a parent’s worst nightmare, and being a parent myself, I am truly heartbroken for Tou Lee and his family.  Alan was such a handsome, happy, and loving son, and he will be truly missed.  He had just celebrated his first birthday in December.  Although his time with us was very brief, he was a true blessing to us all, especially to Tou Lee and family.  Alan will forever be in our hearts and always be remembered.
 
Many people have shared kind words and prayers, and some also wanted to send donations to the family.  I spoke to Tou Lee and he agreed to let me help set up this GoFundMe.   Please know that 100% of your donations will go towards funeral related expenses and whatever needs the family may have during this tragic time.  There are fees associated with these donations, but these fees will be covered by some anonymous donors.  Please share this GoFundMe campaign with others who may want to contribute to this profound loss.
