This summer I ran across America to make sure everybody knows about my goal to support the National MS Society. 17 States, coast to coast, from San Fransisco's Golden Gate Bridge to the Boston Marathon Finish line. Curious how that turned out? Watch the video!

This is the story behind it all:
Two years ago I ran my first marathon in the Netherlands. As many before me I swore to never do it again. But when I moved to Boston in the summer of 2017 I heard about running in collaboration with a charity. That's the moment I decided to pick up my running shoes again and go for it!
One of my best friends got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) when he was 18 years old. Ever since, I've seen what the disease did to him and his struggle to get where he is now. I would love to give something back to him, he deserves it. Thats why I hoped to run the Boston Marathon for National MS Society. They are fighting for a world free of MS. It’s time to kick some ass when it comes to MS and they are doing it! (Click here for more info) Sadly I did not make the selection for Boston due to a great number of applications. So now I'm training for the other dream marathon instead, the NYC marathon!
