Hi, I'm Tif. I'm reaching out because I'm in a situation I never expected to be in and I need help.
After over a year of work— one that affected my health, my mental wellbeing, and ultimately became something I could no longer stay in — I made the difficult decision to resign from my job in February. It wasn't impulsive. It was necessary.
Since then I've been fighting an unemployment denial, navigating medical bills, and trying to keep things together while I build toward what's next. Today I came home to my power being shut off. I owe a minimum of $1,500 to get it restored.
I've already reached out everywhere I could think of. I've been denied assistance from HEAT, the Salvation Army, and Rocky Mountain Power has no options available to me. I've done everything right and I'm still sitting in the dark.
I am feverishly applying and interviewing but have not been able to land a new role yet. So, right now, I need a bridge to get through this moment.
Any amount helps. Even sharing this page helps. Thank you for seeing me.
