On Thursday, July 24, Kylah Banks, 16, and her brother, Martavius Banks, 18, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Carrollton, Ms. Kylah Banks, a rising 11th grade basketball player at J.Z. George School, was pronounced deceased at the scene and Martavius was taken to the local hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery on his lungs, then was sent to the children's hospital in Jackson, Ms. These babies are from a single parent home, loved by many, and have a lot of family support, but this is a hurt none of us can feel for them. The expenses of day to day, being without a vehicle, and medical care will be a worry, on top of the hurt from such a great loss. It will take time for this young man to heal, Kylah has been funeralized and buried, and their mom needs our help. She is a great mom and trying her best to take care of things. Lets help her. Some may have already experienced this kind of loss, but it could be one of us at any time. She would greatly appreciate any help you can offer, big or small. Prayers are welcome as well.
