Meet the Sonju family. Mother Helena 24 who is chronically ill ( & currently hospitalized preparing for permanent feeding tube surgery ) Father Schyler 23 who is in the army & is now trying to juggle living in a hotel & taking care of children by himself ( with help from a wet nurse for Everlee that is caring for Everlee as her own child ) Lilly age 2 who was just recently diagnosed as chronically ill and is getting ready to start therapy for sensory issues & getting ready to go to a children’s hospital to discuss the options for her chronic illnesses as of now. Everlee age 9 months who has signs of some chronic illnesses but no official diagnosis. Helena is a chronic illness / motherhood blogger who has spent over 10 years of her life trying to bring awareness to a large variety of topics to spread awareness so that others didn’t have to feel the way she has. Recently this family of 4 has been through the ringer of finding out their 2 year old is chronically ill , being displaced out of their home due to mold on the military base ( they are living in a hotel without their dog ( service dog ) & none of their belongings besides what they could fit into a couple gym bags. Then Helena who holds the house & children together being hospitalized. This all has put not only an emotional toll on the family but as well as finical toll due to out of pocket expenses.
