Hello. My name is Han Kim and I am a senior in Glendora High School. I live in an apartment with my parents and my younger sister. My younger sister, Esther, is 7-years old and is in second grade. My mom is a stay-home mom and my dad is the breadwinner. However, recently, on the morning of August 27th, my dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Since my dad was the only financial provider of our family, this has left our family in a state of financial burden. This has been a very difficult time for our family and we are still trying to process this loss.
