Help the Flint Family
Please join us in supporting George & Jen Flint, and their family.
George turned 49 on Thursday, September 15th, 2016. On Friday he underwent surgery to remove a large tumor in his brain which was recently discovered.
For 31 years, George has supported his family by working as a Farrier/Blacksmith at the Saratoga Harness Track, following in his father’s footsteps. George lives and breathes for his five children, including two in grade school and two in college. George’s wife Jen, in addition to raising her own children has touched countless families over the years as a doula/baby nurse/caregiver. Anyone who knows Jen and George know how involved they are in their children’s lives, and how active they are in the Galway-Saratoga community. They are a generous, kind, and caring family who are suddenly in a very difficult situation. Now the Flints need our help. It’s unknown if/when George will be able to return to work and to providing for his family. They would never ask for help, so we have decided to do it for them.
Please help George get back on his feet by giving what you can to help the family defray medical costs and the burden of lost income during this time of need.
