Aloha Shiba Ohana (Ohana is family in Hawaii)! It is with deepest sympathy and sadness that I am starting this site to help raise much needed financial support for the Barnes Family.  Jim and Frances are known to those in the Shiba Inu community as shiba rescuers.  Over the past two years they have saved 5 Shibas and nursed 2 senior shibas back to health.  They have opened their hearts and their homes to animals that others would have discarded for death.  Frances' health is failing.  She is home in a hospice situation with a failing liver and kidneys.  Jim is in a state of shock! We have stepped in to help raise much needed funds to provide support to this family in their time of need.  Without Frances working, this poor family and their rescues are at risk.  Please help us show them the Shiba love!
