Help With Tekle's Medical Costs

Tekle, an active 13 year old, was recently in an ATV accident, crashing on a 4 wheeler. After four days in the hospital, he is recovering, but he still has lots of pain. He suffered a concussion, a broken arm, bruises on his hip and lacerations on his face and stomach. He has undergone several costly medical procedures with more ahead, including extensive dental work, and will miss two weeks of school.

Tekle’s family has opened their hearts to kids in need of a loving home (three biological kids and six who came home after birth) - which they’ve provided. Tekle was born in Ethiopia. They are a wonderful family who has given a lot to their community; but right now they are the ones in need. In addition to the medical costs, Tekle’s mom has no paid leave left (and she can’t afford to not be paid) and she would like to be at home until Tekle goes back to school.
