Help save sweet boy Moose

Hello friends and thank you in advance for any help that you can give to this sweet baby.
Moose is 3 years old and was hanging out with his family in Oscoda, MI over memorial weekend. His parents are our nieghbors and we often take him for walks when we are walking our dog. Moose saw us and got excited and began to run accross the street where a man in a truck going way too fast hit him. Moose was run over several times and is very badly hurt. Doctors are working hard to save Moose and in particular save one of his legs that may have to be amputated. His first surgery is tomorrow (Friday, June 2). This is an extremely difficult time for the family and the burden of 20,000+ dollar vet bills are an extra blow. Anything you can do to help- even simply sharing this with family and friends is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and I will keep you all updated!
