Hello everyone,
Our names are Isaiah DeLaVega, Joseph DeLaVega, and Shay DeLaVega (Isaiah’s wife), and we’re creating this GoFundMe for our amazing mother; a woman who has given her entire life to caring for others and asking for nothing in return.
Our mom is a single mother who raised four children on her own, working 12–14 hour days to make ends meet. No matter how hard life got, she never complained, she just kept going. She has also been the full-time caregiver for her very ill father for over 20 years, putting his needs and the needs of everyone around her before her own. She’s helped friends, family, and even strangers in need, often when she had little to give herself.
Now, she’s facing one of the hardest seasons of her life.
She’s living in a toxic household while taking care of her additional two small children, ages 4 and 6, and going to school full-time to build a better life for them. Her father, whom she’s cared for for decades, is sadly declining in health urgently, and to make things even harder, her car is breaking down, leaving her with no reliable transportation to get to work, school, or take care of her family. The car has broken down countless times and is now a danger even if we were to continue to repair it.
Despite all this, she continues to help others before herself. She’s the kind of person who will give away her last dollar or meal if someone else needs it more. Her faith in God, strength, and love for others have carried her this far, but right now, she needs help to keep going.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help her with:
Purchasing a reliable car for her and her kids
Covering basic living expenses (rent, utilities, groceries)
Supporting medical care for her ill father
Helping with school and childcare costs
Every donation, share, and prayer means the world to us.
Our mom is a strong, faithful Christian woman who has spent her life lifting others up — now we want to lift her up in return.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. We are forever grateful for anyone who helps give our mom the hope and stability she deserves.
God bless you all,
Isaiah DeLaVega, Joseph DeLaVega & Shay DeLaVega
