Hi friends,

Our dear and lovely Stella got her work bag stolen this afternoon. They took her medicines, her laptop, wallet, eye-glasses, and some deeply personal mementos. All her photos and many many work projects -- are gone. The  computer, while not the most sentimental of the items is Stella's route not only to her livelihood but also her means to do grant writing, event planning, research, and to building all the connections she makes between people through her organizing and education work. She cannot afford to replace any of these items at this time.

Whether you know Stella through her work with Anti-Racism Collaborative or SURJ Boston or circle work or through Immigration Justice work -- chances are Stella has connected you to something wonderful and fulfilling in Boston justice work. 

That's why we are asking for her community, her friends, her network of support and colleagues, the people who respect and love her - to come together and pitch in to get her sorted out. 

Stella is the first one often to say yes to help others in a pinch and to listen to what is on your heart and do what she can - so if you can spare a little something to assure that she can be well and that she can work - please do so!!

There are so many campaigns and needs these days from causes we believe in and hopefully if enough of us donate even a tiny little bit each, we will get us to a new laptop for Stella and replace her medicines (epipen and inhaler).
