The landslides and floods have destroyed the lives of thousands of Sri Lankans in the last few days. The death toll is rising daily and people are in need of food, water and clothing. Aid workers from around the world are rushing in but the needs are great for survival.
My self, Sandali and Chamal have commited our selves to raise $5000 among our friends and family in the US. Althout it doesn't sound like a substantial amount each $1 will convert to Rs.145.
We'll be sending the donations to Sri Lanka Unites which is a youth led movement for hope & reconciliation. They are currently collecting & distributing donations of clean clothes | bottled water | and packed dry rations.
Your donations will go directly to purchasing the above items.
We'll be sending off the raised funds to Sri Lanka in the next couple of days.
Thank you for helping my country and my people!
