My name Muna Kay , I am a member of parliament of Somalia and currently working to stop the famine in Somalia , I am part of the Somali Youth that live in the Twin Cities and Somalia . I am writing you this letter to raise funds to offer immediate relief to our Somali brothers and sisters that are hit hard by famine all over Somalia
The Urgency is real , and we need the funds as fast a possible to save lives , Other ways to help will be facebooking me or emailing me through this gofund me page , I will help you if you have any problems donating.
Many people are dying of starvation and malnutrition this includes mothers, children, elders and many more
The famine has hit particularly hard regions such as Bari, Sanaag, Karkaar, Guardafui,Awdal,Sanaag, parts of Sool and Bai, Bakool, Muqadisho, kismayo and parts of
Northwestern part Somaliland.
Numerous cropland and thousands of livestock have already perished. Over 60,000 children are imminent risk of starving to death if we fail to offer urgent relief and support. The level of malnutrition, especially among children, is of serious concern.
A report by the UN in 2016 states that "close to 305,000 children under the age of five years are acutely malnourished." Food shortage and skyrocketing of prices of little food that is left has forced many people leave their homes due to the desperate situation there.

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for ( My relatioship is decribed further below , I have been working with idp camps across somalia for past 4 years salama , un displacement camps , in muqgadisho and my foundation helped 200-300 families last year .
4. How the funds will be spent ( it will be converted in dry food distrbution, water program to feed the thirsty , and medical supply for the cholora thats happening ) .
We, the Somali youth have started to raise funds to help those less fortunate than us in the drought affected areas in Somalia.
We know that you deeply care about the heritage and ellbeing of our homeland and its people we do too! And it is with this in mind that we appeal to you to help us help our brothers and sisters - that you will find it in your heart to donate a

Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary ( My plan is to withdraw the money via bank , then go through two non profit orginizations that will get the food and supply to help the famine and the affected areas , recipets , and information for purchase of supply will be shown to donors . Then It will be Shipped to the Regions of Northern , Southern, Centeral Somalia that is affected. From there a Local NGO or the Ministry of Health will take the Aide and disperse it to the families affected by the famine in IDP camps and shelters. 2) Second Use of funds will given to a Non-profit in Minneapolis chosen by the people who will be donating and they will send it out to the victims of the famine. A year and half ago when we did this we partnered with Araha ( African Relief Agency) with Mr. Salah Donyale and CEO Fadumo Jibril to give the funds the affected families in Center Somalia.
