Hello, My name is Clint, and I am raising money for my best friend, Snoop Dog. Snoop came into my life while visiting a friend. Within the first few minutes, Snoop came over and gently set his head on my lap. I was instantly in love with this sweet soul. That night, I went back home without him. Over the next two weeks I could not stop thinking about how his energy was uplifting and pure. I knew he needed a loving owner to care for him. So, I called my friends and asked what it would take to have Snoop with me. That very weekend, he came home with me to Tahoe.
Little did I know Snoop's history. It became obvious very quickly that Snoop had been abused and abandoned, and because of apparant trust issues, led to severe anxiety behaviors. Just raising my voice would cause him to cower and pee. Seeking answers, I picked up books: The Tao of Bow Wow, 101 dog tricks, how to make you dog your best friend, and many others. Snoop and I began working together on his behaviors and more importantly his trust. Snoop has learned to sit, lay down, roll over, he makes eye contact, and on a good day, he will give you some kisses.
We are raising funds for his recent emergency trips to numerous vets due to neurological issues. Snoop was was admitted to the ICU and requires 24 hour care. He is with the neurologist and needs further testing, specifically an MRI, spinal fluid testing, and Emergency Care.
I feel Snoop chose me to better his life, and although it has been a long struggle, I strive to make his life fulfilling. The biggest hardship of this situation, beyond having to watch him suffer, is knowing he may be denied care due to lack of funds. I greatly appreciate your consideration in donating.
