I am starting this GoFundMe to help with the cost of cremation for my mom, Amy and to raise enough funds for lay her to rest. She was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in April of 2024. We knew that diagnosis was a death sentence, but my mom fought so hard to give her family just a few more months with her. What should have been 6 months turned into a total of 21 months before she finally let her soul rest. Amy passed on to the afterlife on Sunday, February 1, 2026, around 2 pm.

My mom was an amazing woman who showed everyone around her what unconditional love is supposed to be. She was funny, outspoken, kind, sometimes really loud, and so selfless.

My family and I were not expecting the cost of cremation and ceremony to send Amy off to the afterlife, so we are asking for any help to cover those costs.

In June, to celebrate her birthday, we will be letting her go in the place that always made her the happiest.
