Hi, my name is Wendy, and I am Scott's sister-in-law. I have started this Go Fund Me page for Scott and his family to survive through the many months ahead. Scott was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident. Valerie, my sister got a knock on the door from a dear friend of Scott’s, Neil, with the news on Saturday morning 1/15/2022, that Scott was cut off by a white X5 BMW forcing him to clip the back of a box truck and flip forward landing on his right side. He fractured his pelvis which caused a main artery to cut open nearly leaving him to bleed to death. Luckily Neil and the box truck driver were able to get Scott in an ambulance! The hospital has saved his life with 3 life saving surgeries and now one ortho surgery. He will have a pelvic external fixator on for 6-10 weeks and cannot walk for 3 months. He will need to learn to sit up on his own as well as walk again over the course of time. We don’t know how long the road to recovery will be or the expenses his family will face.
