Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because my cat Meeko is fighting for his life right now. He’s only one year old, a bright and loving orange tabby who has always been so playful, funny, and full of love. Just two days ago, he was running around the house, purring, and being his usual happy, goofy self.
But everything changed overnight. Meeko suddenly stopped eating, drinking, peeing, or pooping, and it’s now been two full days since he’s done any of those things. He keeps trying to use his litter box but can’t. I rushed him to the vet, and they told me he has a urinary blockage — a painful and life-threatening condition that needs emergency surgery right away.
The vet gave me two options:
Surrender him to be euthanized, or
Pay around $5000 for the surgery that could save his life.
I don’t have that kind of money, and I have no family or friends who can help me. I’m completely on my own, and it breaks my heart because Meeko is my whole world. He’s my comfort, my companion, my little shadow — the sweetest, most gentle boy I’ve ever known.
In the photos I’ve shared, you can see the heartbreaking difference — his bright eyes and playful smile from just a few days ago, compared to now, where he’s weak, in pain, and barely able to move. It’s devastating to see him like this, knowing he’s suffering and I can’t afford to give him the help he needs.
Please, if you’re able to donate anything — even a few dollars — it could help save Meeko’s life. Every bit goes directly toward his surgery, medication, and recovery care. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign to help us reach more people.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for caring about Meeko. I just want to give him the chance to live the long, happy life he deserves.
