Please help us save Jessa's life!
Our fur baby, Jessa, needs surgery to save her life. She has a fast growing tumor on her head which is currently making it difficult for her to open her mouth. If we do not remove the tumor it will eventually run out of blood supply and we will lose her. Our vet, Dr. Emerson, has talked with us about the surgery and the cost. We spent $500 on x-rays and an ultrasound. We cannot afford the surgery, but we love our Jessa dearly and don't want to lose her. This is heartbreaking for us, we are asking for help to raise the money for Jessa's surgery to save her life.
Jessa was a rescue
About 7 years ago we found Jessa on the side of the road. When we stopped she came right to me and I noticed she had a collar with a tag from Tennesse. After calling the number, thinking we found someone's hunting dog far from home, we were informed he was only the breeder. There was no way for us to track down her family. She was emaciated and covered from head to toe in fleas and ticks. After a trip to the vet blood work showed she had a bad case of heartworms (meaning she had them for a very long time). We were advised she was young enough to survive the 2 part procedure to get rid of them. She instantly became part of the family. She is loving and intelligent and precious to us. She became a mother figure to another rescue we have, Sadie. Please help us save our fur baby!
