Help Save Cooper's Life

"A GoFundMe for a dog??
It may seem a bit silly to you. But to Lacey, sweet Cooper is her life, her world, her constant companion, best friend, and most loyal source of love and joy. She will do anything to save this sweet, little love. And we want to help!! A little background of how Lacey and Cooper developed their “soul-mate” bond:
Lacey had no idea at the time that Cooper came into her life that 6 months later he would save her life. She was raised in a strict fundamental religion where her only circle of friends was inside this religious community. Until the day she decided to forge her own path in life. This was shunned enough that the entire community disowned her and were not allowed to speak to her any longer. She became severely depressed and suicidal. Having Cooper by her side the whole time, as her only companion and friend, is the only reason she didn’t take her own life. She had to be there for Cooper. Today they are happier than ever and are rarely apart. Cooper goes everywhere with Lacey.
Lacey is also a part-time music teacher who works with several students of differing abilities and special needs. For these children, Cooper has become an emotional support animal as well. These kiddos are better able to focus and handle their music assignments if they are able to spend a few minutes with Cooper during instruction. He is an essential part of her student’s lives, as well as her own emotional support. He is loved by so many!
Then suddenly 3 weeks ago, Cooper had 2 grand mal cluster seizures. After 48 hours in the ER under seizure watch and heavy testing, and $5000 in vet bills, an MRI determined the cause. Despite being in the very best health, and on the very best diet and lifestyle regimen (his blood work, organs, and other biomarkers look perfect), Lacey got the devastating news that her best friend has two brain tumors. If we don't take immediate action he only has 2-4 months to live. We have to do something! Lacey said, "I have to save his life the way he’s saved mine.” Lacey has opted for isolated radiation which will give Cooper a very good quality of life and good life-expectancy. However, it is also $10,000 beyond the $5,000 she has already spent.
Lacey is scraping up all she can but needs financial help. If you can find it in your heart, words cannot express the depth of gratitude we have for any little bit. It all helps. Cooper has so much more love, comfort, and help to offer everyone who knows and loves him. Time is of the essence. We have to get him into treatment soon before conditions worsen. Please consider helping if its within your realm of possibility at all.
With deepest gratitude."
