Helps us get Hunter better

***Please read*** Update Saturday 22nd Jan
Hunter is home!!! We picked him up today, he’s still a bit wobbly and he’s on painkillers&antibiotics which we are giving him. He’s so much happier than he was a week ago, eating a lot and really playful. Thank you so much to anyone who donated, it has been such a huge help and we are overwhelmed with how generous and lovely everyone has been. We still have a little way to go until we know if the antibiotics will work alone or whether he will need the surgery, but it’s really nice to have him home and happy. Thank you again xx

Update Friday 21st Jan
The vet said that Hunter had a really good night last night and has started to perk up and walk, he’s even chewed his IV lines so we know he’s getting back to his old self! He’s being weaned off of painkillers slowly and we are taking it day by day, but at the moment things look very hopeful for him. Again, thank you so much for any donation, it has taken away a lot of stress for us all xx

Update Thursday 20th Jan
The CT scan has shown abscesses on Hunter’s spine, pelvis and an infected hip joint, but we don’t know the cause. He’s on IV antibiotics which will hopefully deal with the infection but if they don’t work he’d need an operation to drain the abscesses, which due to the position of them would mean he’d have his pelvis split. He’s still in the specialist vet hospital, and he’s unfortunately still in a lot of pain. We are hoping the antibiotics start working soon and he starts to recover. Thank you so much for any donations, it has already been a huge help xx

Hunter is our 4 month old puppy who is currently in a specialist vet hospital after being poorly since Friday 14th Jan, he’s had a lot of tests done but nothing conclusive yet. Between his visits to his normal vets, emergency vets & a few of these tests we’ve reached the limit of our insurance money so we need to raise the rest of the bill from the specialists and then any treatment/medicine/therapy afterwards. We really appreciate any help as we want him to get the best possible care to get better ASAP xx
