Support Hamoudi’s Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello,

my name is Hamoudi, and this is my story with kidney failure. I am a 33-year-old Palestinian, and for the past two years, I have been fighting kidney failure. 

This illness has completely changed my life. Dialysis has become a daily part of my routine, but it has come with a series of health and financial challenges. 

Despite these hardships, my greatest source of motivation to keep going is my five-year-old daughter. 

My dream is to watch her grow up, and I am fighting every day to make that dream a reality.

 Why am I asking for your support?

 After two years of suffering, a kidney transplant is my only chance to regain my health and a normal life.

 Fortunately, I have potential donors within my family - my brother, mother, and sister - but we need to conduct the necessary tests to confirm compatibility. The transplant will take place in Jordan, but the costs are extremely high, and I cannot afford them on my own.  

I have explored every option and exhausted every possibility, but I simply cannot afford these expenses on my own. 

That is why I am reaching out to you, my community, for help. 

How will the donations be used? 

Your donation will directly support the following essential costs: 

Compatibility Testing: To determine if my family members (my brother, mother, and sister) are suitable kidney donors, we need to cover the cost of medical tests. 

These tests are crucial to ensure the success of the transplant and to avoid complications. 

Travel and Accommodation: The transplant will take place in Jordan, and I will need to travel with a family member to accompany me. 

Your support will help cover the travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, and other logistical costs during my stay. 

Medical Treatment and Post-Surgery Care: The transplant itself is a major procedure, and there are additional costs for medications, hospital stays, and post-surgery care to ensure proper recovery and a smooth healing process. 

Doctor’s Fees and Hospital Costs: The kidney transplant requires skilled surgeons and medical professionals, and the associated doctor’s fees and hospital expenses are significant. 

Your contribution will help pay for these essential costs. 

 Why is this important? 

 A successful kidney transplant will change my life. It will allow me to regain my health and live without the constant burden of dialysis. It will allow me to be the father I want to be for my daughter - strong, healthy, and present. Without this transplant, I will continue to face a future dominated by medical treatments, with no guarantee of recovery. But with your support, I will have a real chance at a new life.

قصتي مع الفشل الكلوي

أنا حمودي، فلسطيني عمري 33 سنة، وأعيش منذ سنتين مع معاناة الفشل الكلوي. هذا المرض غير حياتي بالكامل، وأصبحت جلسات الغسيل الكلوي جزءًا من روتيني اليومي، لكنها جاءت مع تحديات صحية كبيرة.

لماذا أطلب دعمكم؟

بعد عامين من المعاناة، زراعة الكلى هي فرصتي الوحيدة لاستعادة صحتي وحياتي الطبيعية. لحسن الحظ، لدي متبرعين محتملين من عائلتي - أخي، أمي، وأختي - لكن يجب إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة للتأكد من توافقهم. العملية ستُجرى في الأردن، ولكن تكاليفها باهظة ولا أستطيع تحملها بمفردي.

كيف سيتم استخدام التبرعات؟

الفحوصات الطبية: لضمان توافق المتبرعين معي ولتجنب أي مضاعفات بعد العملية.

السفر والإقامة: يجب أن أسافر إلى الأردن مع أحد أفراد عائلتي، وتشمل التكاليف تذاكر السفر، الإقامة، والمصاريف المعيشية هناك.

العلاج والرعاية بعد الزراعة: العملية تتطلب متابعة طبية وأدوية لضمان نجاحها وتعافيي بشكل جيد.

تكاليف المستشفى وأتعاب الأطباء: العملية تحتاج إلى فريق طبي متخصص، وتكاليف المستشفى مرتفعة. دعمكم سيساعد في تغطية هذه التكاليف الأساسية.

لماذا هذا مهم؟

زراعة الكلى ستغير حياتي، ستمنحني فرصة للعيش بدون معاناة الغسيل الكلوي. بدون العملية، سأبقى مرتبطًا بالعلاجات الطبية بلا ضمانات لمستقبلي، لكن مع دعمكم، سيكون لدي أمل وفرصة حقيقية لحياة جديدة.
