Hey!
Emily here… :-)
I’m sad to report, that on my usual rambles through my life and the country, I completely per chance heard a distant mewing and alas, there was a loan, cold and tiny kitten shivering under a crate in the pouring rain.
I instantly scooped up the kitten and took them home. I’m not sure of the sex yet, as still so young, but having reared baby animals often before, luckily I’m equipped and able to help.
I returned to the scene to try and locate the mother. Sadly no sign at all, but I did find more kittens (another 5) clearly abandoned and also not long for this world without immediate help and warm.
Im currently feeding them formula with a bottle every two hours and intend to raise the kittens and find them eventually only best of homes once they are old enough.
Without the mother, I’m going to now need a lot of formula. Not only that, blankets, kitten food and litter. Also, they’ll eventually need neutering and given inoculations etc…
Local shelters are full to the brim and I know I can foster these babies and just feel fortunate to have found them.
Any small donation of help would be so much appreciated and I’ll post regular pics on here also.
Thank you so much. Just about to convert my little ‘spare’ room, into a kitten nursery!
Keep watching this space.
All love
Em xxxxxx
