Our sweet outdoor cat, Ryobi, was recently struck by a car and is now bravely fighting to recover from serious injuries. For over two years, she’s been part of our daily routine - greeting us at the door each morning and waiting for us every evening when we return home, happily making her home in our shed.

On Sunday morning, when she didn’t show up for breakfast, we knew something was wrong. We soon discovered she had been hit by a driver and left in pain, unable to move. Thankfully, we found her in time to get her the urgent care she needed. Ryobi suffered multiple pelvic fractures and now faces surgery to walk again and return to a normal life.

The cost of her treatment is overwhelming, but we couldn’t stomach the idea of putting her down when she still has such a strong chance at a pain free future. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her medical expenses and recovery.

Once she’s recovered, we are planning to permanently rehome her with my best friend who currently has her son, Ceviche :) ❤️
