Help River Lose a Leg

Hi, my dog’s name is River and two years ago, some really awful people that I trusted, let her out of the house and she fell down the stairs. The broken leg that resulted was treated with surgery by installing a plate and 8 screws along the radius.

The ulna apparently has never healed and has since caused what the vet now believes is bone cancer.

My dog need your help: I am currently struggling with trying to get back on my feet after the death of my mother from cancer. Now my dog is sick and she needs to have her leg amputated.

Her treatment plan is in the works, however we have an estimate on what the amputation could cost, based off a recent amputation at the same vet hospital.

River has been my only constant in the past 9 years and I can’t let her feel this level of pain.

Please help, I don’t know what more to do.
