My dog Riley was hit by a car when we were out walking her last night. She has a severely dislocated left elbow and some road rash but nothing else was wrong. This is absolutely incredible because she was hit by a car going at least 40 mph and dragged under the car for several long seconds. How she is even alive is a miracle. The emergency vet said they may be able to pop it back into place but with how badly dislocated it is, it most likely won't stay. They think some ligament and tendons are torn so surgery would be the best option. They estimated that everythig would cost at least $3,000.00, on top of the $400 we spent last night.  This is money we dont have. I am in school trying to save but that amount is absolutely impossible.

We adopted Riley from the humane society a little over a year ago. She is a blue heeler and blue tick hound dog mix. She is the most playful, happy, energetic, and full of life dog I have ever had. She has completely changed my life and brought me more joy over the last year that I knew possible. I am begging anyone who can help to please please help us. I don't want to put down a perfectly healthy 4 year old dog with no health problems simply because I can't afford to fix her leg. Absolutely anything helps... Thank you so much in advance.
