Donate to Renovate Papa Brett’s Space

Hi, this is Melissa and Bobby, and we are asking the public for help in providing emergency assistance for housing and for repair work for Brett.

The donations from this fundraiser will go towards providing housing for Brett as he’s exhausted all resources for housing through the state. He’s gotten kicked out of his placement for various reasons. He can’t care for himself, which means he can’t care for his space. What he really needs is a caretaker or a caseworker, but he’s exhausted those avenues also. Resources are in high demand in our area.

The funds will also go towards repairing the dwelling we purchased in Texas. His space needs electrical repair and heat, ventilation, and air-conditioning, and the space will need to be fully furnished. Funds will also go towards clothing him. His disability check usually lasts two weeks into the month, so we’re currently paying for his additional expenses out-of-pocket: food and housing.

The original GoFundMe we set up for Brett wasn’t fully funded; we reached 58% funding, and we are closing donations for that fundraiser and establishing this GoFundMe for emergency care and housing repair.
