Meet Ollie, our amazing 6-year-old boy who lives with Ullrich muscular dystrophy. We're raising money to help him get the specialist equipment, and care he needs to continue enjoying life to the fullest.

A Little Bit About Our Ollie
Ollie is 6 years old and lives at home with his mum, dad, older brother, older sister, younger brothers and, of course, Spidie the dog!
He's a much-loved little boy who brings so much happiness to our family. Ollie absolutely loves being outdoors, going swimming and listening to music. Like any other little boy his age, he wants to have fun, explore the world around him and make wonderful memories with his family.

But everyday life isn't always as straightforward for Ollie.
Ollie lives with muscular dystrophy, a condition that causes progressive muscle weakness. He is a full-time wheelchair user, and having the right equipment is essential for his independence, confidence and quality of life.
As his family, all we want is for Ollie to enjoy his childhood, have adventures with his brothers and sister and continue doing the things that make him happy.

Look What You Helped Us Achieve Last Year!
Last year, so many incredible people came together to help us raise the money for Ollie to get his Zippie Q300 Mini powered wheelchair.
And what a difference it has made!
Since getting his wheelchair, Ollie's confidence has grown so much. Having the freedom to move around more independently has opened up a whole new world for him.
Watching Ollie gain that confidence and independence has meant absolutely everything to us as parents.
And the most amazing part? YOU helped make that happen!
Every single person who donated, shared our fundraiser or supported us in any way played a part in giving Ollie that freedom.
We will never be able to thank you enough for what you've already done for our little boy.
His wheelchair has shown us just how much of a difference the right equipment can make. It's not simply about getting from one place to another. It's about independence, confidence, freedom and allowing Ollie to enjoy being a little boy.

Seeing how much his life has changed thanks to your generosity is exactly why we're reaching out for your support again.

Why We're Fundraising Again

As Ollie grows, his needs continue to change, and so does the equipment and support he requires.

Although the NHS provides important medical care and support, it doesn't necessarily cover every piece of specialist equipment, every home adaptation or all the additional care that could make a difference to Ollie's everyday life.

Some equipment and support may be available through the NHS or local council, but there can still be significant costs that families have to find themselves.

We want to make sure Ollie continues to have the freedom and independence that his wheelchair has already given him, while also preparing for his changing needs as he grows.

We're hoping to raise money to help towards:

- Specialist equipment and mobility aids to support Ollie's independence.
- Equipment and support to help Ollie enjoy activities such as swimming and spending time outdoors.
- Additional care and support that may not be fully funded.
- Future equipment and essential needs as Ollie grows and his condition progresses.
-We also want to start Ollie on a private physiotherapy due to his condition and wanting to improve and maintain his mobility. These are expensive and start around £90 pounds per hour!

We want Ollie to have every opportunity to enjoy the things he loves, whether that's going swimming, exploring the outdoors, listening to music, spending time with his brothers and sister or having fun with Spidie the dog.

Most importantly, we want him to continue building the confidence and independence that you've already helped him achieve.
Every Little Bit Makes a Difference

Asking for help again isn't easy, especially when so many wonderful people have already done so much for our family.
But seeing the difference your generosity made last year has shown us just how much can be achieved when people come together.
You helped give Ollie his wheelchair, and with it came a level of confidence and independence that has been incredible to watch.
Now, we're hoping that together we can continue making a difference as Ollie's needs change.

Whether you can spare £1, £5, £10 or simply share our fundraiser with your friends and family, every little bit of support means the absolute world to us.
We completely understand that times are difficult for everyone, and there is absolutely no pressure to donate. Sharing Ollie's story is just as appreciated.
Every donation will help us work towards providing the equipment, adaptations and care that Ollie needs, including costs that aren't covered by other available funding.

From Our Family to Yours, Thank You!

To everyone who helped us last year, we want you to know just how much your kindness has changed Ollie's life.
Every time we see him enjoying his independence and growing in confidence, we're reminded of the incredible people who helped make his wheelchair possible.
You didn't just help us buy a wheelchair. You helped give our little boy greater freedom, confidence and the opportunity to experience more of the world around him.
And for that, we will be forever grateful.
To everyone supporting us this time, whether you're donating for the first time, supporting us again or simply sharing Ollie's story, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our greatest wish is to give Ollie the happiest childhood possible, filled with love, laughter, adventures and precious memories.
Together, you've already helped change Ollie's life once. With your continued kindness and support, we hope to keep making a difference for years to come.

Thank you for being part of Ollie's journey.
With all our love,
Ollie's Mum, Dad and Family
