Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary is a rescue group dedicated to helping older animals to safety. Most of the animals we assist have been abandoned in shelters. Once very loved and part of a family, these animals wait alone in cold, steel cages. They wait there, frightened and confused, for an owner who will never return to them.
With no one to help them, most will not make it out alive.
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for these older animals to allow them to live that life in peace, comfort and contentment. To provide the medical and emotional support needed; to find them wonderful adoptive HOMES in which to spend their final days, months, or (hopefully) years!
Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary was honored by The New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association with its Animal Welfare Award in recognition of this special work. Special because no one helps old animals. Rescue groups focus on helping puppies and young dogs to safety.
Old dogs die.
We hope to continue to offer the high level of veterinary and hospice care needed to help these elderly dogs and cats live the remainder of their lives with the love and dignity they deserve.
But due to mounting expenses, we can no longer do this without YOU.
Every dollar counts. Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary remains committed to helping older animals who need us.
Won't you please help?
Your most gracious gift today will go a long way tomorrow to help us to help THEM to safety.
To save their lives.
To keep them from dying.
To give them that second chance at love.
Donate today, so we can again move forward tomorrow!
