Nicole needs to find cancer treatment options ASAP
My daughter Nicole, was diagnosed with a rare form kidney cancer last summer. Bythe time they found it they had to remove her kidney along with a grapefruit size tumor and within 6 months, she had stage IV cancer that spread to her lungs, liver and skull. She is only 37 years-old and has three children Austin (16), Marlie (9) and Marcus (3). Her oncologist told her that her disease is incurable using standard treatments and that her best hope is to find a clinical trial. We’ve been looking far and wide for trials, but have only found options locally and are eager to know what else is out there. It is absolutely daunting trying to navigate finding treatment options and until last weekend, we thought we’d have to travel around the country to find treatments for her.
Last weekend, Nicole attended CancerCon in Denver, CO, a conference for young adult cancer patients and survivors. Her best friend from High School, Kellie Herbert, invited Nicole to join her and thank God she went! Nicole met the team from Driver and they’re able to help us get exactly what she needs.
Driver will help Nicole find all of her treatment options at 30+ of the top cancer centers in the United States, without her having to travel. They will simultaneously evaluate her for treatments at each of these cancer centers and Driver’s team will give her high-touch, personalized support along the way. They will also quickly schedule an appointment for Nicole at the cancer center she chooses to put her on the fast-track to getting the best treatment.
