My dear nephew, Mario, who lives in Costa Rica, was diagnosed with cancer in his knee last fall. After chemo treatment, his leg had to be amputated to prevent the invasive cancer from spreading. Mario is a 31 year-old husband and father to 2 year-old Ian. He earns a living loading and unloading heavy equipment and lumber. A prosthetic leg would allow him to continue to work for his family; it will cost his family roughly $10,000. The community of Narajano, Costa Rica, has helped to raise about half of this. Please help me help my nephew Mario.

Here's Mario and his son Ian, during a community basketball game to raise money for his leg.
